Deron Tucker was born and raised in Queens, New York. Even as a youngster he was fascinated by the pace and excitement of the entertainment world--particularly its pop and r&b music components! This attraction, coupled with an analytical mind, led him to choose Entertainment Law as his life’s work. With a Juris Doctorate from Touro Law Center and a B.A. in Sociology from Queens College (where he was on the Dean’s List), Deron Tucker believes in the power of “good communication skills”. He also believes that a “win at all costs” approach to negotiations can sometimes be a deal-killer. A member of both the New York and the District of Columbia Bars, Deron is active in his church and spends his scant spare time mentoring young people in his community.
“I hope I can make a difference in someone’s life...either as a role model or by providing helpful advice,” he says. “Not to mention, working with neighborhood youngsters is agreat way to stay up-close and personal with hip-hop and the whole urban music scene!”
Deron Tucker resides with his wife Tonia on suburban Long Island. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association. He also specializes in residential real estate transactions.
